What is this small pin sized red dot on my skin?
It's tiny, it looks like I was poked with a pin. I've only had two, one was on my hand and was there for a while but now is gone. The other is on the bridge of my nose, which is quite annoying.
I've never had more than these two and they don't resemble anything like a rash or an allergic reaction because they're not grouped with others and just randomly appear without warning.
Any hint as to what it could be and how to get rid of it would be greatly appreciated.
You probably have a small "spider nevus" or "nevus araneus", which is just a small blood vessel arteriole that is actually directed at the skin rather than going parallel to it. So, u see the vessel "head on". These are not dangerous and you might be prone to getting more of them.
