How was the movie full metal jacket historically accurate in representing vietnam?
The Marine Boot Camp scenes were more historically accurate. Vietnam was much more humid and lush than depicted in the film, mostly because it was shot in the desert or something.
No USMC Colonel is that politically incorrect, BTW.
