Will tea still be hot in a thermos after five hours?
I need to somehow keep hot tea hot from 6 am when I make it until lunch at 11. I have a Thermos brand thermos; how long do they keep hot things hot for?
Thermos is as good a brand as any, but no thermos is going to keep tea piping hot for 5 hours. It will be lukewarm at best. Is there no microwave available where you could heat it up? And probably it would be a little better if you just put plain hot water in the thermos, and kept the tea bag separate until you're ready to use it. Also, those little electric thingies you put in a cup of water work real well, but I'm a little scared of them.
If you come up with a good solution, you better patent it! You'll make a fortune.
