Dried chili peppers...side effects?
The other day during lunch, I ate a chili pepper from an order of Panda Express' Kung Pao Chicken. Shortly after I consumed it, I experienced feelings of light headed-ness, followed by a giddy/delirious feeling (I felt almost "out of body"). I then attempted to pick up my chopsticks, but found it to be "too much", like I just couldn't do it. I then found I couldn't focus on anything for more than 2 or 3 seconds, and then I started rubbing the surface of the table. These effects stopped about 2-2.5 minutes after I consumed the chili. I just wanted to know, what the hell happened to me!?!
You probably had a type of reaction. It was probably too spicy for you, I wouldn't try it again. Although a similar thing happened to me, my tongue bled a little bit.. Weird, I know.
