Major dog counter surfing problem?
My 4 year old bernese mountain dog, Lucy, has a MAJOR counter surfing problem.
She has to be watched at all times, or she will eat any food on any surface. I have tried the pebbles in a tin can with a string idea, but she isn't scared and doesn't react to sound very much. I'm thinking of getting a zap collar that zaps her when she jumps on the counter but I don't want to hurt her. What should I do?

My Lab used to climb counters and table until I put some raviolis in hot sauce on the table and picked her water bowl off the floor. That was the last time she ate food off a table or counter.
