When he said, “Mexicans and Arabs” are responsible for the increase crime rate in our area?
There has been an increase in auto theft in our area lately.

bender_xr217: I live a state where the economy is really declining. Houses in my area are being foreclosed on/or owners are renting. Therefore the area is becoming more diverse due to an in flux of renters moving to the area.
If it is true and backed by statistics, then no it is just a statement of facts. Neither the word "Mexican" or Arab" is considered to be a racial slur, this is the proper name for someone of that heritage. If it is an opinion based on the officer's prejudice or hatred of either of these ethnic groups, then yes it is out of line.
