why cant human eyes glow n the dark like animal eyes?
what does the huma eye lack that the animal eye does not?
ive been wondering about this and so i decided to ask.
is there i way we could make our eyes glow inthe dark?
animals have a better ability to see in the dark because they have a special layer in their eye called the tapetum lucidum. This layer acts like a mirror and collects light in low light situations and it is also what you are seeing when you shine a light into the eyes of an animal. It's like they have built in night vision goggles.
We humans do not have this layer.
