Foot Dvd

Windows Media Player DVD burner. I recorded a foot ball game only 3 hours. How come it won't burn to DVD?

I got DVD-R, DVD+R, CD-RW, CD-R all blank, and no matter what I try to burn in Windows Media Center, it tells me the disc is full, or show is too long to record. Is there a limit on how long reecordings can be on a DVD? I made date music discs with near 100 songs on only one cd-r. I made a data picture disc with almost 150 pictures. I can't make a dvd burn if it's near 3 hours. Is this too long to burn? IS there a limit on time for burning DVD-R or DVD+R, or CD-DATA burn sessions?

My suggestion is to compress your video and save it onto the dvd as a video file, rather than as a dvd-player compatable disc.
Download something like this, but not specificly this one.

You should be able to take a 3 hour video to < 2 gigs.

Another method you can choose to do is buy a dual layer disc and hope that your video is small enough to fit on one of those. (DVD-9)
