Anything you know about the campus itself, not the education but the feel of the campus and whether it is appealing to the eye and such. Anything you know helps!
American seemed to be reasonably campus-like when I passed through there on the way to their law school. Most things were centrally located and it seemed as though there was a campus whereas GWU is located in the heart of Foggy Bottom and university buildings are spread out amongst other businesses, homes, hospitals.
GWU had no greenery to be seen when I was visiting there and residence halls were basically located adjacent to the GWU hospital and parking lots. Still, GWU has a great Metro location (Foggy Bottom stop is right there) whereas American required the use of shuttles to get the AU/Tenleytown stop.
I also enjoyed the UMD campus that another poster mentioned. It had a real campus feel to it; lots of grass and nice buildings and it felt much safer to me as a single woman there at night than either of the DC located schools. Also, UMD has a great orchestra that I played in (the Gamer Symphony Orchestra) that I couldn't resist mentioning...
